Terras Madre de Água is a wine from Portugal’s Dão region crafted from a single grape variety: Touriga Nacional. It offers aromas of plum and black cherry complemented by floral notes and hints of dark chocolate.

On the palate, this wine displays strong, dominant tannins that enhance the tasting experience, giving it body, quality, and impressive persistence.

It pairs beautifully with white or red meats, prepared dishes including fish-based recipes, and soft cheeses.

Why I love it

  • Its strong, dominant tannins.
  • Its long finish on the palate.
