The Rótulo is a red wine from the Gouveia area, on the slopes of the Serra da Estrela. It’s an easy-drinking wine with a clear, bright color and those signature brick-tinted reflections typical of the grape varieties used in this blend.
On the nose, it reveals aromas of tobacco and red fruits, lifted by subtle menthol notes that add freshness and extra complexity. On the palate, it is elegant, with a pleasant roundness and a lively acidity.
This wine pairs beautifully with traditional Portuguese cuisine: slow-braised veal, duck rice, oven-baked cod, and traditional Portuguese cured sausages.
