Inspired by traditional Portuguese flavors, this green tea is paired with the aromas of pineapple from São Miguel Island, slowly grown under glass for two years. Yellow flesh, orange-tinted skin, and a naturally sweet-and-tangy balance. A rare fruit that enhances the tea without ever overpowering it.

On the palate, everything is gentle. A light green tea, naturally low in caffeine. Sweet, fresh, delicately fruity notes. No excess—just a clean, comforting sensation. To enjoy from morning to night, effortlessly.

Why I love it

  • The only tea grown in Europe, on São Miguel Island in the Azores.
  • A tea flavored with pineapple also grown in the Azores.
  • An organic tea, preserved from pollution.

Azores green teaThe Gorreana tea plantation is located on the northern slope of São Miguel Island, the largest island in the Azores, right in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Along with its neighbor Porto Formoso, it is the only tea plantation in Europe. Tea has existed wild in the Azores since the 18th century, but cultivation only began in 1874. The Gorreana plantation that produces this green tea is therefore over 100 years old, yet it produces only 40 tons of tea per year—compared to an average of 2,500 tons per plantation in Asia.
