Beautiful, large ceramic plate, in the shape of a poppy, that can be used as a main dish or serving platter, as a catch-all at the entrance, or simply as a decorative object. Its design is characteristic of what is known as Caldas da Rainha ceramics, of which the most famous artist is Bordallo Pinheiro.
It boasts exceptional quality and meticulous attention to detail in its finishing. The reliefs and details are precise, the surface is perfect and very bright, and the colors are vibrant.

This piece originates from a small workshop located in Central-West Portugal, in the province of Estremadura. Its design is representative of what is known as Caldas da Rainha ceramics, of which the most famous artist is Bordallo Pinheiro. The molds used in this workshop are passed down from generation to generation, and the current owner uses his grandfather's molds. All pieces are carefully crafted by hand, and production is highly limited.
